The more than 150 cats
seized from a Powell area home on Thursday (Aug. 26) needed a place to go as legal proceedings and logistical operations are pending. So, workers with the Humane Society of the United States set up a temporary shelter at the Park County Fairgrounds.
On Friday, a team of veterinarians, assistants and Humane Society workers examined and provided medical care to the confiscated felines. This video shows some of this morning's operation.
We'll have much more detailed coverage in Tuesday's Tribune.
